Automotive Technology Manual Drivetrain & Axles Certificate

In most cases, the courses you need are available on your selected campus. However, there may be times to complete courses online or travel to another FRCC campus. Location availability is indicated at the time of registration.

Program Description

The mission of the Automotive Technology program is to prepare students with a skill level sufficient for entry level positions/careers in the automotive repair industry. Students demonstrate the ability to meet recognized automotive industry standards upon completion of the program.

This degree program contains one or more embedded certificates which will be automatically awarded when the certificate requirements are completed.

Career Opportunities

Graduates are finding excellent employment opportunities as technicians, sales associates, service writers, and parts staff. These opportunities exist in dealerships, independent service facilities, machine shops and other automotive businesses.
