Program Description

Sociology is the study of the development, structure, and functioning of human society. Career options for students who study sociology include business, counseling and social services, criminology and law, international development, or preparation for graduate studies in fields such as sociology, social work, or law.

Career Opportunities

A bachelor’s degree in Sociology opens the door to careers such as:

- Becoming a Youth/Victim's Advocate in a Police Department

- Counselor

- Youth Organization Director

- Social Worker

- Teaching (secondary/college) 

- Business/Government Researcher
