Program Description
This certificate program prepares individuals to work in an administrative assistant/office support role in a health care facility. Students learn basic human anatomy, physiology and disease conditions. Skills are developed in computer applications, written communication, medical office procedures, financial management, insurance billing, International Classification of Diseases 10th (ICD-10) Edition, and Physicians Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding, and transcribing medical reports.
