Medical Office Technology
This program is designed to prepare individuals for a career in the clinical and administrative functions of the health care system. All students become familiar with the law and ethics of the health care system and medical terminology. Each area includes an internship at a health care facility.
This program provides three AAS degree pathways: Medical Assisting, Medical Administrative Assisting, or Billing Specialist.

Additional requirements for Medical Assisting students:
- Complete a health summary with documented immunization records. The health summary needs to be completed during the final semester. The health summary is provided by the Program Director. Please contact Kari Williams at 303-678-3833.
- Current CPR course; complete the American Heart Health Care Provider course and receive a 2-year recommended renewal date. The recommended renewal date must not expire prior to completion of the internship semester.
