S - Satisfactory
An "S" grade indicates that the quality of student work in the course is equivalent to "C" or better. “S” will count in attempted and earned credits, but will not carry any quality points. Therefore, “S” grades will not be included in GPA calculations. They may not be applied to any course in the Colorado Guaranteed Transfer Program for General Education or guaranteed to transfer, with the exception of “S” grades posted for ENG 1021 English Composition I and/or ENG 1022 English Composition II based on a previous bachelor’s degree. Students should talk with their advisor, faculty/instructor and transferring institution for applicability before requesting a "Satisfactory (S)" grade.
