Basic Laboratory Animal Care
This certificate is available to students currently enrolled in the Veterinary Technician Program and is designed to meet the demands of the biomedical research community for qualified personnel in the care and management of laboratory animals. Technicians certified in Laboratory Animal Technology are central to the integrity of biomedical research, assuring a high standard of humane care for research animals.
