This AAS degree pathway is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in computer programming. This pathway contains many courses that transfer to a Bachelor’s degree in programming/Computer Science. Transfer students are strongly advised to meet with the Program Director before selecting general studies coursework for the AAS Degree in Programming. GT coursework such as Natural and Physical Sciences sequenced coursework (e.g. PHY 111 and PHY 112), MAT 121 or higher and ENG 122 may be quality courses to consider but will be dependent on the intended transfer institution.
