HIT 289 HIT Capstone Course
Offers student a comprehensive review of all HIT courses in preparation to take national exam, utilizing Study Guides and Mock Exams; offers student a 60 hour professional practicum experience (PPE) to apply classroom knowledge in a clinical setting; practice professionalism, gain insight into the functions of the department, understand the relationship of health records to the facility as a whole, demonstrate the ability to act independently, complete assigned projects and demonstrate a good understanding of health information management concepts.
