Automotive Service: Entry-Level Technician Certificate
Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete an Automotive Service: Entry-Level Technician Certificate and enter the workforce. Students explore the operation, maintenance, and service of basic automotive systems including: electricity and electrical systems, engines including cooling and lubrication, steering and suspension, tires and wheels, brakes, and HVAC. Students completing this certificate will have a solid foundation in automotive fundamentals and will be prepared for entry-level employment in the automotive service industry. The topics covered in this certificate include the skills that are most commonly requested or desired by employers when looking for entry-level automotive technicians.
