Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete an Applied Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration & Management and are seeking to advance their careers in healthcare. The program builds on knowledge the student gained by completing an associate degree in a healthcare related field and further prepares students for leadership and management roles in a variety of healthcare settings. Students examine healthcare systems, operations, finance, quality improvement, and strategic planning while developing skills in communication, ethical and legal decision-making, and data-informed management to support organizational effectiveness and patient care. Graduates are prepared for positions such as healthcare manager, clinic supervisor, practice manager, or healthcare administrator in hospitals, outpatient clinics, public health agencies, and other healthcare-related settings.
