Geographic Information Systems Certificate

Program Description

This program is designed for students wanting to complete a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems and enter the workforce. Students explore the relationships of geographic information systems, cartography, global positioning systems, and database and project management. This certificate program prepares students for careers in assisting scientists, engineers, technologists, and other professionals in building, maintaining, modifying, and using GIS databases.
