Program Description
This program is designed for students and working professionals who have completed an associate degree within a creative field and want to complete a Business for Creative Industries Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) Degree. Students apply concepts within core business and creative disciplines; implement principles of ethical, legal, social, and financial practice; and demonstrate responsive leadership skills to achieve sustainable creative business. Students integrate creative industry specific tools to analyze, strengthen, and manage business practices and design processes to achieve positive organizational outcomes. This program is a continuation of preparation for entry-level creative industry and will prepare students to thrive in creative fields such as interior design, multimedia graphic design, and recording arts. For students currently enrolled in either the associate degree for interior design, multimedia graphic design, or music recording arts programs as well as for working professionals within industry, the program is flexible for adult learners allowing extended time to earn a degree.
