Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete the first two years of a bachelor's degree and transfer to a university to complete a BA or BS in Business. Careers typically require a bachelor's or master's degree. This degree allows students to pursue a BA or BS degree in areas such as Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, Finance, Accounting and more.

What You Will Learn
Upon completion of the program, students will be able to:
1. Prepare effective business written communications
2. Identify different types of business organizations
3. Demonstrate basic software program skills for organizing and managing data
4. Demonstrate effective business presentation skills
5. Develop teamwork skills
6. Analyze financial ratios
7. Discuss issues in ethics and corporate social responsibility
8. Apply critical thinking skills to business scenarios
9. Prepare an effective resume and cover letter targeted to a specific job
10. Demonstrate double entry accounting
First Semester
Semester Note: Most transfer institutions require College Algebra (MAT 1340) for the GT-MA1 requirement. However, some transfer institutions will accept Finite Math (MAT 1320) and some require Survey of Calculus (MAT 1400) or a higher-level Calculus. If you don’t see the institution you plan to transfer to listed, please discuss with your advisor which Math class to take for the GT-MA1 requirement, and if you need to take any additional Math for your elective credits in semester 4.
