1Each student at Colorado School of Mines is required to complete 4 separate semesters of Physical Education as a graduation requirement, totaling 2.0 credit hours. The Physical Education requirement does not apply to students with DD 214 (veterans) or students whose first day of enrollment at Mines comes when the student is 26 years of age or older.  Additionally, for students transferring into Mines under an articulation agreement associated with the AES, the 4 separate semesters requirement is waived and 2.0 credit hours of transferred physical education coursework will satisfy the existing Mines Core Curriculum degree requirement.

2Both Intro to Programming (CSC 1019AND Networking I (CNG 1024OR Intro to SQL (CIS 2043) must be taken to receive credit for CSCI 101 at Mines.

3Students may also select up to 6 additional credits from either 1000 and/or 2000 World Language courses including all GT-AH4 courses and/or from any 2000-level GT courses from the following categories: GT-HI1GT-AH2GT-AH3GT-SS1GT-SS2, and/or GT-SS3. These courses can be used to fulfill mid-level humanities and social sciences requirements at Mines.
