ECO 2001 Principles of Macroeconomics: GT-SS1

Focuses on the study of the national economy, emphasizing business cycles and long-run growth trends. Explores how macroeconomic performance is measured, including Gross Domestic Product and labor market indicators. Examines the saving-investment relationship and its relationship to Aggregate Supply and Aggregate Demand. Discusses money and banking, international trade, fiscal and monetary policy. Equivalent testing score (e.g., ENG 1021 or higher,) or enrollment in or completion of ENG 0092 or ENG 0093 or ENG 0094. Any of these ENG courses may be taken at the same time with this course.
