Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a one-year (two semester) Certificate in Landscape Contracting Technician and enter the workforce. Students explore landscape irrigation, woody plants, construction, and cost estimation practices. This program prepares students to work in or own a landscape construction company. Students will learn how to build and install retaining walls, decks, brick pavers, paver patios and sprinkler systems. Landscape drainage, lighting, equipment and bidding will also be covered.
