Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a one-year (two-semester) certificate in Metal Fabrication and enter the workforce. Students explore design, layout, and fabrication concepts in conjunction with several welding processes. This program covers a broad spectrum of welding techniques including: cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, gas metal arc welding, blueprint reading, design, layout, and metal fabrication. This program prepares students for entry-level career positions in metal fabrication, welding, and manufacturing.
