Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a two year Certificate in Practical Nursing Exit Option and enter the workforce. Students explore knowledge and skills of safe patient-centered nursing care in a variety of health care settings. This option allows students to complete the first year of the AAS Nursing and NUR 169 to receive a certificate and be eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses (NCLEX-PN).
