Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a one-year (two semester) Certificate in Early Childhood Director and enter the workforce. Students explore early childhood education techniques and practices, business operations, program development, and evaluation. This certificate prepares students for career paths in preschool, childcare, infant and toddler, and elementary education settings. This program prepares students to meet state education requirements for CDHS Director certification. Curriculum development, child growth and development, and administrative skills are among focus areas. CDHS also requires experience hours.
