Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a one-year (two semester) Certificate in Comprehensive Welding and enter the workforce. Students explore shop safety, metal cutting, and a variety of industry welding processes. This certificate program covers a broad spectrum of welding techniques including cutting processes, shielded metal arc welding, gas tungsten arc welding, and gas metal arc welding. This program prepares students for entry-level career positions in welding, fabrication and manufacturing businesses.
