Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a one-year (two semester) Certificate in Patient Care Technician and enter the workforce. Students explore a wide range of skills and techniques required for patient care. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) certificate is designed to prepare students for entry-level careers in a variety of health care environments such as clinics, hospitals, nursing homes or long term care facilities. Upon completion, students can take the National Certified Patient Care Technician (NCPCT) exam through the National Center for Competency Testing.
