Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a two-year AAS Degree in Nursing Advanced Placement Bridge LPN-ADN and enter the workforce. Students explore human anatomy and physiology, microorganisms, human development, and pathophysiology. This is an advanced placement option for students who are licensed as a practical nurse in Colorado. Currently licensed LPNs and those interested in transferring into the AAS nursing program should contact wcnursing@frontrange.edu for admissions information. The Nursing Advanced Placement Bridge Program is a four semester program offered at the Westminster Campus only. FRCC's nursing degree is approved by the Colorado Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing Inc. (ACEN).

requires the completion of 25.5 credits of nursing coursework found in Semesters 2-5 and 29 credits of general education and nutrition coursework listed above for a total of 54.5 credits. This is in addition to the nursing credits transferred in from previous LPN program completion. Transferring LPN credits
will equate to a 21 credit block equivalent to FRCC first-year nursing coursework:
