Program Description
This program is designed for students wanting to complete a two-year AAS Degree in Cybersecurity and enter the workforce. Students explore cloud and network security management. This AAS degree provides a comprehensive overview of network security, computer forensics, and communication security including remote access, e-mail, the web, directory and file transfer, and wireless data. Students also learn cryptography basics and operational/organizational security as it relates to physical security, disaster recovery, and business continuity. Cloud and virtualization courses teach students the technical skills required to install, configure and/or manage many facets of the cloud infrastructure. Students completing this training will be prepared for multiple industry certifications including the CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cloud+, and CompTIA Cloud Essentials. Some careers may require a Bachelor's degree.

Semester Note: If you desire to complete a Linux certificate you will need to complete CNG 201 this semester. If you desire to complete a Cloud Computing & Virtualization certificate, you will need to complete CNG 142 this semester. If you are not taking CNG 142 or CNG 201, you may want to take either an English or approved elective course this semester to lighten your semester load in Semester 3.
Upon completion of CNG 120, CNG 124, CNG 132, CNG 125, CNG 133, CNG 136, and CNG 212, you should apply for the Cybersecurity Certificate.

Upon completion of CNG 120, CNG 124, CNG 132, CNG 142, CNG 201 or CNG 212, CNG 240, and CNG 241, you should apply for the Cloud Computing and Virtualization Certificate.
