HHP 262 Psychoneuroimmunology (PNI): Exploring the Mind-Body Connection

Examines the theory of Psychoneuroimmunology as the interrelationship of the body-mind connection and the impact of stress on health. Explores the physiological and psychological interaction between the central nervous system, the immune system, and the endocrine system and how they interact with each other to impact one's overall state of health in creating both illness and wellness. Introduces new fields of thought that are impacting views on health as well as medical education and training.
