Notes: MAT 166 is the preferred course for Math students, over MAT 122. Both MAT 122 and MAT 166 are approved electives, but since MAT 122 is a 3-credit course, take CSC 119 in addition.
If you are ready to take MAT 201 in the first semester, then in your fourth semester take a 4- or 5-credit elective.
- Math faculty’s first recommendation is: MAT 261 (GT) or MAT 266 (GT).
- Math faculty’s second recommendation is: take one of these MAT 255, MAT 265, or MAT 135 (GT) (all 3-credits) plus an additional 1 credit from the approved elective list.
- Math faculty’s third recommendation is to take a course from the Approved Elective List for a minimum of 4-credits.
