S - Satisfactory:

An "S" grade indicates that the quality of student work in the course is equivalent to "C" or better. "S" grade will count in attempted and earned credits, but will not carry any quality points. Therefore, "S" grades will not be included in GPA calculations. It may not be applied to any course in the Colorado Guaranteed Transfer Program for General Education. No course taken for an S/U grade may be applied to the AA/AS degree with the exception of physical education courses, and in that case, no more than three credits of PED/OUT/DAN for all degrees.
